Participants need to create an online user name and provide an email address, but do not have to play with other users. All participation is free.

The Khan Academy is an online virtual school with the mission of providing a world-class education to anyone, anywhere.

Solomon Stick Math Videos

This site provides math tutorial videos on a variety of concepts from Kindergarten to 12th grade. It is a helpful resource for both students and teaching parents.

The Math Worksheet Wizard is a FREE resource for teachers and homeschooling moms and dads. DLTK is a Canadian-based company that provides many resources for homeschool families. This particular link will give families resources to support and inspire the study of poetry.


Wordle is an online "toy" for playing with words by generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. . The images you create with Wordle may have different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. This is a good site for developing creativity and vocabulary.
